School visits.

After our amazing and interesting science Bingham park yesterday we have been reflecting on our visits over the year.

Art Work with Mr Baldry

This week we had Peter Baldry in school and lots of classes helped him create a new cardboard masterpiece for the Lavender Field. We we lucky enough to help with making wooden panels for Hogwarts Library . We loved it.

Y5 Jesse Tree day

On Tuesday we had a great day “off timetable” where we learnt about stories from the old testament. We were led by the Footprints Theatre Trust who taught us about the Medival Jesse Trees, which depicted characters from the bible as if it were a family tree. Y5 studied the story of Joseph from Exodus and also the Creation story.

We had a great time and realised a lot of the similarities between the Qu’ran and the Bible.

Use our “Talk Fans” to explore historical artifacts

Thanks to Mrs Dawson we are now using our talk fans to extend our spoken language. We really enjoyed discussing, thinking and learning about the second world war objects …….
